Lesson 1 of 56

Welcome to the course

โฑ 3 min ยท What you'll learn, how the course works, and how to get the most out of it.

Welcome. If you've ever opened ChatGPT, typed something in, got a reply that was almost right, and thought "there's something in this, but I can't quite make it work for me", then this course is for you.

We built it for two kinds of people.

  • Individuals who want AI to save them time on real things. Emails, planning, writing, ideas.
  • Small business owners who know everyone is talking about AI but haven't figured out how to actually use it in their business.

How the course is structured

The course has three tiers, and you can work through them at your own pace.

  1. Beginner: AI Fundamentals. What AI is, what the main tools are, and how to get going.
  2. Intermediate: Get Serious with AI. Better prompts, custom tools, simple automations.
  3. Advanced: Claude Code and Agentic AI. The cutting-edge stuff. Real AI in your workflow, not just chatting with it.

How to use each lesson

Each lesson is designed to be short. Five to fifteen minutes. You can:

  • Tick lessons off as you complete them. Your progress saves automatically.
  • Skip around using the sidebar if you already know a topic.
  • Come back anytime. If you're logged in, your progress follows you across devices.

A promise

No jargon without a plain-English translation. No 45-minute videos when a 3-minute read will do. No "just trust me". We'll show you what AI actually is under the bonnet, so when it gets things wrong (and it will), you'll know why.

One tool that'll make this course 10x faster

Before you carry on, a quick tip. One of the biggest reasons people write lazy prompts is that typing is slow. You sit at the keyboard, bash out a half-sentence, hit enter, and hope for the best.

๐ŸŽค
Our favourite tool: Wispr Flow.

Wispr is an AI dictation tool for Mac and Windows that turns spoken words into clean, punctuated text, anywhere you can type. It understands context, fixes filler words, and is genuinely accurate.

Why we recommend it for this course: instead of typing a lazy two-line prompt, you can talk through what you actually want for 30 seconds and get a rich, detailed prompt on the screen. Your prompts get better overnight, and you get hours back every week.

It's free to try. Grab Wispr here and come back. We'll wait.
